Leyton Orient vs Accrington Stanley - Dean Cox dilemma for Ian Hendon

Posted Friday, October 30, 2015 by PA

Leyton Orient boss Ian Hendon must decide whether to recall Dean Cox at home to Accrington.

The popular winger was dropped from the squad for the win at Morecambe last Saturday and instead played for the reserves in midweek.

However, Hendon may opt to stick with the side which registered only their second victory in 10 matches thanks to Jack Payne's first-half strike.

Striker Paul McCallum remains on the sidelines with a long-term knee injury.

Accrington defender Adam Buxton misses out due to the hip injury he sustained in Saturday's 3-1 win over Dagenham.

Buxton was forced off in the ninth minute of the game and is facing three to four weeks on the sidelines.

Dean Winnard missed that match as he was unwell but is now fit to play again, while the defence could also be boosted by comebacks from Tom Davies (knee) and Liam Wakefield.

Midfielder Gerardo Bruna will be out for a couple of weeks with an unspecified injury.
