Fleetwood Town vs Chesterfield - Jimmy Ryan blow for Fleetwood
Posted Friday, October 30, 2015 by PA
Fleetwood will be without midfielder Jimmy Ryan for Saturday's Sky Bet League One home clash with Chesterfield.
Ryan is suspended having picked up his fifth booking of the season in the 1-0 win at Barnsley last Saturday.
Defender Dionatan Teixeira is available to keep his place having extended his loan from Stoke.
Nathan Pond could be in line to make his return to action from an ankle problem having played for the development squad this week, but another defender remains sidelined in Victor Nirennold.
Richard Wood is likely to make his Chesterfield debut against his former club.
Wood played the last game of his loan spell at Fleetwood last weekend and after joining the Spireites on Monday he should play at Highbury for the second successive Saturday, partnering Ian Evatt, who returns from suspension, in central defence.
Left-back Dan Jones must serve a one-match ban so it will be a much-changed backline for the visitors.
Chesterfield also signed New Zealand Under-20 international defender Liam Graham this week but he is seen as one for the future and will probably not be involved.
