Crystal Palace and Manchester United are both looking to bounce back from midweek defeats when they meet at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
Palace have now lost three in a row after they were beaten 5-1 by Manchester City in the League Cup on Wednesday, following league defeats against West Ham and Leicester City. Added to their struggles in recent weeks is the fact that they lost to the Red Devils home and away last season and the season before.
United's penalty-shootout defeat to Middlesbrough was their third game without a win in all competitions, and second goalless draw in a row. But their Premier League form has been decent, with a 3-0 win over Everton followed by a goalless stalemate in the Manchester derby last weekend to leave them fourth in the standings and looking for a fifth-consecutive win over the Eagles.
Yohan Cabaye (knock) is a major injury doubt for Palace, as is Jason Puncheon (illness), but Joel Ward (knee) and Pape Souare (knock) are both available for selection. Connor Wickham (calf/shin) and Marouane Chamakh (hamstring) are ruled out.
Louis van Gaal has confirmed that Antonio Valencia (ankle), James Wilson (knock), Paddy McNair (abdominal strain) and Memphis Depay (knock) are all out injured, but Ashley Young featured in midweek and could be in line for a start.
