Stade Rennais FC vs Paris Saint Germain - Blanc urges PSG to concentrate on fixture

Laurent Blanc has ordered his Paris St Germain players to ignore the distraction of next week's Champions League clash with Real Madrid at the Bernabeu with a Ligue 1 match coming up at Rennes on Friday night.
PSG can extend their lead at the top of the league table to 10 points with a victory over the Breton side, who sit seventh in the standings.
They travel to Madrid for a key European fixture next Tuesday night but Blanc is demanding his men keep their focus on domestic matters for now.
"I hope the players will ignore the Real match for 90 minutes to win against Rennes," he told the French media at a press conference on Thursday.
"We have to be focused and determined. The best preparation is to win this match before the Champions League."
Javier Pastore may feature for PSG after conjunctivitis kept him out of the last Ligue 1 fixture against St Etienne.
Blanc confirmed David Luiz returned to work on the training pitch on Wednesday as he continues his recovery from a knee injury.
Blanc admitted he may consider some rotation of his team to keep some players fresher for Tuesday's Madrid trip.
"If there is a rotation it is to minimise the risk of injuries," he said.
"Before the match against Rennes we'll reflect on the usefulness of resting one or two players. The idea is to maintain a competitive group but keeping the game against Real at the back of our mind."
PSG have won five straight Ligue 1 games heading into the trip to Brittany and are yet to suffer a league defeat.
Rennes by contrast have not won any of their last five in the league, but come into this game boosted by a 1-0 win over Bastia in the Coupe de la Ligue on Tuesday night.
They began the season in stunning fashion, winning four consecutive league games, but their last in Ligue 1 came at Nantes on September 13.
Despite that poor league form, Brazilian defender Thiago Silva will not take Rennes lightly.
"A difficult match awaits us against Rennes, and I think if we are going to put in a good performance in Madrid we also need to do so against Rennes on Friday," Silva told PSG TV.
"We will try to return to Paris with the three points. We're going out there to play our game."
