Cambridge United vs Bristol Rovers - Roberts returns for Cambridge against Bristol Rovers

Posted Thursday, October 29, 2015 by PA

Mark Roberts is available following suspension when Cambridge play Bristol Rovers in League Two on Friday night.

But George Taft has returned to parent club Burton after the left-back suffered a serious knee injury in last week's win at Yeovil.

Defender Josh Coulson (calf) has returned to training, while Leon Legge (groin) could resume training next week, but the game will come too soon for both of them.

Midfielder Keith Keane and goalkeeper Chris Dunn remain out.

Rovers hope skipper Mark McCrystal will be available to play.

Central defender McCrystal missed last weekend's 4-1 shock home defeat to lowly Newport with an ankle injury suffered in training and is danger of being sidelined again.

Tom Parkes, who scored an own goal against the Exiles, could continue to deputise as Rovers seek to improve one of the best away records in the division with a sixth win on the road.

But James Clarke could also come into contention and Wales Under-21 striker Ellis Harrison will be hoping for a recall after starting the Newport defeat on the bench.
