Leeds United vs Blackburn Rovers - Leeds United duo set for late fitness tests

Leeds will check on Jordan Botaka and Chris Wood ahead of the visit of Blackburn.

Winger Botaka has been struggling with tonsillitis recently while Wood is nursing a knock from the weekend, although it is thought the striker will be fit.

After drawing his first two matches in charge, Steve Evans is still seeking a winning formula and he has plenty of options available should he wish to make any changes to his starting line up, with the likes of Scott Wootton, Giuseppe Bellusci, Alex Mowatt, Souleymane Doukara and Will Buckley all vying for recalls.

Midfielder Casper Sloth could be added to the squad after scoring two goals for the under-21 side recently.

Fode Koita and Danny Guthrie are still not ready to return for Blackburn at Elland Road.

Striker Koita (hamstring) and midfielder Guthrie (thigh) are yet to come back to full training so Rovers boss Gary Bowyer is continuing to err on the side of caution with the pair.

Bowyer will have the same squad to select from as he did against Burnley, with Grant Hanley and Shane Duffy still just one yellow card away from a suspension and Jason Lowe (foot) and Chris Brown (knee) out for the long term following operations.

The versatile Ben Marshall, who Bowyer recently claimed was a top-flight calibre right-back, could be preferred to Adam Henley in the back four once again.
