Hellas Verona 0 - 2 Fiorentina: Fiorentina get back to winning ways in Serie A
Posted Thursday, October 29, 2015 by PA
Fiorentina halted a three-match winless run with a 2-0 triumph at Hellas Verona.
The Viola took a 25th-minute lead after Nikola Kalinic's strike took a deflection off Hellas defender Rafael Marquez and the ball went past goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini.
Kalinic then doubled the Viola's lead in the 57th minute when he tapped in Giuseppe Rossi's cross.
Fiorentina have climbed to third in the standings, level on 21 points with Napoli and Inter Milan.
They are two points adrift Serie A leaders Roma.
The outcome in Verona has piled further pressure on Hellas coach Andrea Mandorlini, whose side is still without a win after 10 rounds.
