Forgotten Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes is adamant he'll stay in the English Premier League, as he prepares for a move away from Old Trafford.
The Spain international joined United on a free transfer in January 2015 after spending nearly 20 years at Barcelona, but was banished to the stands by manager Louis Van Gaal after reportedly refusing to play for the reserves.
Gines Carvajal, Valdez' agent, claims his client is 'relying on the Red Devils to let him go' but his first preference is to remain in England.
"The Premier League is very attractive and Valdés want to stay because he has adapted perfectly to England, but we are not closing the door to any options," Cravajal told the Daily Telegraph.
"There are still two months until the transfer window opens and there is nothing concrete, but the intention is to leave Manchester United."
Prior to Valdez's arrival in Manchester, the 33-year-old played 535 times for Barca, winning 21 major trophies.
