Udinese 1 - 0 Frosinone: Francesco Lodi's free-kick earns Udinese first league win at home

Francesco Lodi's free-kick was enough for Udinese to beat Frosinone 1-0 on Sunday and clinch their first home Serie A win of the season.
The hosts broke the deadlock in the 20th minute when Lodi's left-footed attempt took a deflection off a defender and beat visiting goalkeeper Nicola Leali.
Udinese, who had mustered just one point from their previous four games at their Friuli stadium, were the better side but could not extend their advantage and were almost punished.
Substitute Federico Dionisi almost equalised with eight minutes remaining but his 10-yard shot towards the far post was saved by Udinese goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis.
Udinese held on for their third victory of the campaign as Frosinone again failed to win on the road.
