Jose Mourinho keeps quiet after being sent to the stands

Jose Mourinho has avoided the possibility of facing further FA punishment by refusing to speak to the media after Chelsea's latest defeat, this time to their London rivals, West Ham.
The 52-year-old was sent to the stands at half-time of the 2-1 defeat, as a result of his protests to referee Jon Moss' decision to send off Nemanja Matic, just minutes after controversially ruling out a goal for Cesc Fabregas.
Mourinho was recently dealt a £50,000 fine and a suspended stadium ban for comments he made after losing to Southampton. Clearly feeling unable to bite his tongue following today's events, the Chelsea boss has decided to keep frustrations out of the media.
Matic received two yellow cards in the first period to ensure, like Mourinho, he would not be returning to the pitch after the break.
His first offence was for pulling Cheikhou Kouyate back and just nine minutes later, he was given his marching orders for stupidly stopping Diafra Sakho as he went past the Serb.
The decision made Chelsea's players and staff furious. Fabregas and Diego Costa were booked for dissent while coach Silvino Louro was removed from the bench.
When Mourinho did not come out for the second half it was obvious something had happened and it was later confirmed he had been sent to the stands after approaching Moss and his officials during the interval.
Mauro Zarate had put the home side ahead, before Gary Cahill gave Chelsea's ten men a glimpse of hope after converting from a corner.
However, Andy Carroll ensured it would be a miserable journey back to Stamford Bridge by heading past Asmir Begovic in the 79th minute, leaving the Blues with just 11 points from their opening ten matches.
