The Premier League wants Messi

Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City have all made Leo Messi's agents aware of their intentions to sign him and found them to be quite receptive.
According to 'The Sun' and 'The Daily Mirror', the Argentine's problems with Spain's tax authorities could see him accept a change of scenery, despite saying recently how happy he is playing at Barcelona.
Messi is under contract until 30th June 2018 and his release clause is 250 million euros. According to the reports, the Premier League clubs all made contact over the last two weeks, whilst the player was sidelined through injury.
In any case, if the interview that the player gave to Yahoo UK yesterday is anything to go on, Messi has ruled out an immediate move away from the Camp Nou. "Play in another league? I don’t want to look too far ahead. I live for the moment and at this moment I am with Barcelona in the Spanish League where I have made my living and where I live very well", he said.
