Wycombe Wanderers vs Carlisle - Gareth Ainsworth faces decision over Aaron Pierre
Posted Friday, October 23, 2015 by PA
Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth must decide whether to recall defender Aaron Pierre to his side for the visit of Carlisle after discipline issues.
Pierre had been a regular in the team until the midweek loss to Newport, but he was dropped to the bench after turning up late to a team meeting and rebuked by his manager.
Michael Harriman was the man who came into the side after his own return to fitness, but it is Jason McCarthy who may be more vulnerable to the axe, having struggled for game-time this campaign.
Club captain Paul Hayes has made a gradual comeback from an Achilles injury and is an option in attack for Ainsworth as he seeks to reverse a run of three consecutive losses.
The Cumbrians welcome loan signing Hallam Hope to their squad after the striker signed a one-month loan from Bury.
Hope offers manager Keith Curle another attacking option as top-scorer Jabo Ibehre works back to full fitness following a hamstring injury.
Defender Tom Miller is banned after picking up his fifth booking against Northamptom on Tuesday.
Alex McQueen is set to replace him in the starting XI, while centre-half Michael Raynes should return in place of Troy Archibald-Henville.
