Huddersfield Town vs Derby County - Chris Powell to pick from same Huddersfield squad

Huddersfield manager Chris Powell could choose from an unchanged squad for the home game against Derby.

Winger Mustapha Carayol missed Tuesday night's home win against MK Dons due to compassionate leave after a family bereavement and midfielder Kyle Dempsey was sidelined through illness and will be monitored.

Striker James Vaughan will sit out the second game of his three-match ban following his recent dismissal at Ipswich and midfielder Jonathan Hogg is still struggling with a thigh injury.

Teenage striker Flo Bojaj stepped off the bench for his first senior appearance for the club in midweek and will be hoping to feature again.

In-form Derby will make another check on Jeff Hendrick.

The Republic of Ireland international was sent home from training at the beginning of the week due to illness and was not fit enough to be included in the squad against Blackburn on Wednesday night.

The Rams were held to a goalless draw at Ewood Park but extended their unbeaten run to seven matches, including five wins, so head coach Paul Clement is unlikely to make too many changes to his team for the trip to West Yorkshire.

Midfielder Craig Bryson (knee) and defender Jake Buxton (back) have resumed training following lengthy absences but it will be a couple of weeks until they are considered for first-team selection.
