Valencia manager Nuno Espirito Santo has praised his side following their 2-1 Champions League victory over Gent at the Mestalla on Tuesday.
Los Che went ahead through Sofiane Feghouli in the 15th minute and the Belgian club equalised just before half-time, but the hosts claimed all three points thanks to a second-half own goal from Stefan Mitrovic.
"It is a good result which leaves us in a good position, but there are many points still available," Nuno said. "The next match could be decisive. The first half was good, with the team feeling loose and comfortable.
"What is important is the production of the team; the play has been fluid, we learned where we could do Gent harm. We have a lot of work planned, we will make a detailed analysis of the distances covered by players in training and in games."
Valencia remain second in Group H, three points behind leaders Zenit St Petersburg and five ahead of Gent and Lyon, who are on one point each.
