Exeter City vs Cambridge United - David Noble back from ban for Exeter

Posted Tuesday, October 20, 2015 by PA

Exeter will get David Noble back for their Sky Bet League Two match with Cambridge at St James Park.

Noble was awarded his fifth caution of the season in the 3-3 draw with Stevenage, meaning he sat out the 1-0 loss to Carlisle at the weekend.

Fellow midfielder Matt Oakley also came out of the starting line-up because of a persistent knee problem and he appears set to give that longer to heal to try and remedy the issue after a stop-start campaign so far.

The Grecians are hopeful that Ryan Harley (thigh), Manny Oyeleke (cramp) and Tom McCready will return either for this fixture or at the weekend.

Cambridge will once again be without three defenders.

Mark Roberts will sit out the second game of his three-match ban, accrued following his dismissal against Portsmouth while Josh Coulson (calf) and Leon Legge (groin) are out injured.

That means U's boss Richard Money is once again likely to deploy the inexperienced pair of George Taft, who overcame a groin strain himself to play on Saturday, and Leicester loanee Alie Sesay.

Elliot Omozusi could come back into the mix after having an operation on an infected tooth.
