Falkirk 0 - 1 Hibernian FC: Hibs beat Falkirk for hat-trick of wins

Jason Cummings helped Hibernian leap to second in the Scottish Championship after their third straight league win as Falkirk were beaten 1-0.

Falkirk, searching for a resurgence after back-to-back losses, started the game brightly and Lee Miller struck the bar in just the 13th minute with a strong header.

But Hibernian were in control at half-time as Cummings slotted home a penalty for the visitors five minutes before the break after John McGinn was fouled in the box by Falkirk's Luke Leahy.

John Baird and Will Vaulks had attempts on goal for Falkirk in the second half, but Hibs held on for a sixth league win in their last seven games.
