Mancini slams Inter critics

Inter manager Roberto Mancini has hit back at the club's detractors following continued criticism in the wake of their 0-0 draw with champions Juventus.
The Nerazzurri have enjoyed an excellent start to the new campaign, winning five of their first eight Serie A matches, and currently sit just one point behind table-topping Fiorentina.
Despite this, Mancini's side have managed just eight goals so far this season, prompting criticism from Italian media for a perceived defensive style of play, claims the former Manchester City boss firmly refutes.
"The fact remains that I perceive always too many criticisms of us," he is quoted as saying by FourFourTwo. "Since the beginning of the season I hear certain things despite five consecutive victories. Maybe I do not understand anything about football.
"We need to improve a few things but that's normal. I think we can be up there [challenging for the title]. Are we the favourites? Fiorentina are doing well, despite losing to Napoli, who are there with Roma and Juventus will return."
