Northampton Town vs Carlisle - Northampton without banned Lawson D'Ath for visit of Carlisle

Midfielder Lawson D'Ath will begin his three-match suspension in Northampton's Sky Bet League 2 clash against Carlisle.

D'Ath was given a straight red as the Cobblers' six-match unbeaten streak came to an end with a 2-1 defeat at Cambridge on Saturday.

Winger Ricky Holmes (back) and defender Rod McDonald are back in training, but Tuesday's game may be too soon for a return.

Forward Alfie Potter trained on Monday and return to the squad for their game at Sixfields. Brendan Moloney and Evan Horwood could also feature.

Carlisle's Jabo Ibehre is pushing for a return after a hamstring injury which has sidelined him for the last four games.

The 10-goal striker missed Saturday's 1-0 win over Exeter, where deputy Alex Gilliead scored his first senior goal, but could make his comeback at Sixfields.

Charlie Wyke remains a doubt following a foot injury with the Cumbrians seventh in Sky Bet League Two.

Keith Curle's side ended a run of two straight defeats with their win at the weekend.
