Accrington Stanley vs AFC Wimbledon - Matt Crooks missing for Accrington

Accrington will be missing Matt Crooks when they entertain AFC Wimbledon in east Lancashire.

The Stanley midfielder was booked for the fifth time this season in a 1-0 loss at Plymouth on Saturday and must therefore serve a one-match suspension for the Dons' visit.

Left-back Adam Buxton (stomach strain) was injured in the warm up at the weekend and boss John Coleman has stated it is "unlikely" he makes the quick turnaround, meaning Joe Wright may retain his place in the XI.

However, Coleman revealed he also has players carrying knocks and may therefore consider reinforcements ahead of kick-off.

AFC Wimbledon goalkeeper James Shea faces a late fitness test before manager Neal Ardley selects his team.

Shea's struggles with a groin injury mean he is considered a doubt.

Andy Barcham is also due to go for a scan to determine his availability, having suffered a knee injury during Saturday's 5-2 defeat by Morecambe.

Semi Ajayi and Adebayo Akinfenwa are both available for selection having respectively recovered from head and hamstring injuries in time to feature against Morecambe.
