Garcia: Tactical change earned win

Roma boss Rudi Garcia believes a change of formation at half-time played a major part in his side's 3-1 Serie A victory over Empoli on Saturday.
The Gialorossi began the match in their favoured 4-3-3 formation but struggled to impose themselves on Empoli, prompting Garcia to switch to a 4-4-2 in the second-half to have more bodies in midfield.
The change saw the capital club score three times after the break and Garcia believes the adjustment was the main reason they won the game, admitting that Empoli were very much in the game before half-time.
"Empoli caused us all sorts of problems, especially in the first half when they harried us high up the pitch," the Frenchman is quoted as saying by FourFourTwo.
"In the first 45 minutes we tried to exploit the space behind their back line but we couldn't make the breakthrough.
"We changed formation after the break and went with 4-4-2 so could have more men in midfield. We were well set out after that."
