Klopp plays down Sturridge injury

New Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has eased fears over the injury which ruled Daniel Sturridge out of the goalless draw at Tottenham on Saturday.
The England international missed the majority of last season and the start of the new campaign with injury problems, but finally made his comeback for the Reds last month.
However, Sturridge was absent for Klopp's first game in charge of the Merseysiders when they travelled to White Hart Lane at the weekend, having picked up a knock in training ahead of the game.
The German, though, insisted the injury was "nothing really serious", but decided not to take any risks with the 26-year-old striker after losing both Joe Gomez and Danny Ings to anterior cruciate ligament injuries this week.
"We had a bad week with injuries," admitted Klopp. "The best news is it's not a serious thing with Daniel but, in a week like this with two ACL, we could not risk it.
"Daniel had a one-on-one situation with Jordon Ibe in training. I didn't see it but after he said he had a little pain in a muscle.
"We made a diagnosis and screened him to be sure - we can see a little bit of swelling but nothing really serious. So we have to see. I hope he's ready to play on Thursday."
