Augsburg 0 - 2 Darmstadt: Darmstadt secure impressive win at Augsburg

Augsburg's poor start to the season got even worse on Saturday as they were beaten 2-0 at home by promoted Darmstadt.
Sandro Wagner gave the visitors the lead with his third goal of the season, a far-post header from a corner which Marwin Hitz was only able to help on its way in.
Peter Niemeyer made it two from another corner, after Luca Caldirola's shot was parried by Hitz.
Augsburg tried to respond, but wasted chance after chance as Darmstadt held on to a win which lifts them into the top half of the table and leaves the Bavarians - who have won only one of their nine games - with the prospect of dropping to the bottom of the standings on Sunday.
