Toulouse 1 - 2 Angers SCO: Angers stay second in Ligue 1 thanks to triumph at Toulouse

Posted Sunday, October 18, 2015 by PA

Surprise package Angers maintained second place in Ligue 1 with a hard-fought 2-1 victory at Toulouse.

Stephane Moulin's side had to do it the hard way, though, when they fell behind to Oscar Trejo's 24th-minute opener following some neat interplay with Martin Braithewaite.

That lead lasted just three minutes as Cheikh Ndoye headed Vincent Manceau's delivery beyond Ali Ahamada to silence the home crowd.

And, when Abdoul Camara beat two defenders before despatching a clinical 18-yard effort beyond Ahamada, that proved to be enough for Angers to claim their sixth league win of the season.
