Dunfermline moved to the top of the Scottish League One table by easing to a 3-0 win over Stranraer in a teatime kick-off.
The Pars were 2-0 up inside 32 minutes thanks to goals from Michael Moffat and Ben Richards-Everton before substitute Mickael Antoine-Curier added a third as they leapfrogged Ayr into first.
Moffat set Dunfermline on their way with a low finish from inside the area four minutes in and although home goalkeeper David McGurn saved from David Hopkin, Richards-Everton headed in his first senior goal to double the visitors' advantage.
Antoine-Curier was introduced in the 68th minute and just four minutes later he was on the end of Moffat's pass to head in free-scoring Dunfermline's 33rd league goal of the season.
