Falkirk 1 - 0 Greenock Morton: Lee Miller grabs late winner for Falkirk against Morton

Posted Sunday, October 18, 2015 by PA

Lee Miller's stoppage-time goal lifted Falkirk to a potentially priceless 1-0 victory over Morton in the Ladbrokes Championship.

Peter Houston's men had been beaten by leaders Rangers before the international break but Millers' last-gasp strike consolidated the Bairns' position of fourth place.

Will Vaulks saw his strike saved by Morton goalkeeper Derek Gaston while at the other end Ross Forbes' effort cannoned off the underside of the bar in the best chance either side had in the opening 45 minutes.

Falkirk substitute Miller headed onto the roof of the net but then found the net in added-on time, slotting past Gaston from Craig Sibbald's pass.
