Southampton v Leicester

The Saints humbled the Blues 3-1 at Stamford Bridge to hand Jose Mourinho's men their fourth defeat of the campaign and now sit in ninth place, just six points behind early pace setters Manchester City eight games into the new season.

Ronald Koeman's side will now go in search of their fourth win in a row in all competitions following earlier wins over MK Dons and Swansea City.

In team news, Fraser Forster and Florin Gardos (both knee) remain long-term absentees for Koeman while Shane Long will also be missing after picking up a an ankle ligament injury on international duty with the Republic of Ireland.

Leicester, meanwhile, travel to St Mary's following a 2-1 win over newly-promoted outfit Norwich City and currently sit in fifth place on 15 points having won four of their first eight games to start the season.

Claudio Ranieri's side have been a revelation so far this campaign and the Italian will be keen to see his side maintain their impressive form against the Saints.

However, the Italian may have to do it without Riyad Mahrez and Jeffrey Schlupp after the duo picked up knocks on international duty. Nathan Dyer, though, is fit for the clash after overcoming a knee problem.
