Hibernian FC vs Dumbarton : Alan Stubbs handed injury boost as Hibs target Dumbarton win

Hibernian boss Alan Stubbs is looking forward to welcoming six players back into his squad for Saturday's visit of Dumbarton after his injury woes eased significantly.

Farid El Alagui (knee) is ready to make his first run-out of the season while Jordan Foster (hamstring) returns to action for the first time since August.

James Keatings, Fraser Fyvie and Islam Feruz are also all in contention after shaking off knocks, while Jamie Insall could make his debut six weeks after signing from English non-league outfit Bromyard Town.

Stubbs said: "The squad is looking in much healthier condition and gives us a major boost now that we can welcome another six back into the group."

Dumbarton will attempt to claim their second win over Hibs this season without Scott Taggart, who has a knee injury, and Jamie Lindsay who has a groin problem.

Kevin Cawley is a doubt with an ankle injury, but Steven Craig and Stevie Ross have been added to the squad after recovering from knocks.

Sons manager Stephen Aitken said: "We are going to Easter Road with a bit of confidence after defeating Livingston in our last game. Hibs have been in terrific form, but we have players with lots of experience and they will welcome the challenges that this game brings.

"It will take a huge effort to beat Hibs again, but we will look to do that."
