Reading vs Charlton Athletic - Reading without Hal Robson-Kanu for Charlton clash
Posted Friday, October 16, 2015 by PA
In-form Reading will be without Hal Robson-Kanu when they host Charlton.
The winger suffered an ankle injury during Wales' 2-0 victory over Andorra on Tuesday night and could face a few weeks on the sidelines.
Robson-Kanu joins defender Anton Ferdinand (thigh) and midfielder Stephen Quinn (knee) on the sidelines for the Royals, who have won five of their last six Championship matches.
But striker Matej Vydra could return after a knee injury kept him out of the 2-0 win over Middlesbrough before the international break.
Charlton, without a win in seven games, are still missing Denmark international Simon Makienok through injury.
Fellow striker Igor Vetokele, midfielder Christian Ceballos and goalkeeper Stephen Henderson remain on the casualty list.
Club captain Johnnie Jackson is pushing for a start after coming on as a substitute to inspire Charlton's comeback from 2-0 down to rescue a point against Fulham a fortnight ago.
Fellow midfielder Ahmed Kashi could return after missing out at Craven Cottage with a knock.
