Brentford vs Rotherham United - Brentford's Alan McCormack back from suspension for Rotherham's visit

Struggling Brentford can welcome back Alan McCormack when they host Rotherham.

The utility man, who has been used in midfield and at right-back this season, missed the 2-0 defeat at Derby a fortnight ago through suspension.

Boss Lee Carsley, who has lost both his matches in charge so far, still has a lengthy casualty list with with Marcos Tebar (hamstring), Maxime Colin (knee), Sam Saunders (calf) and Lewis Macleod (hamstring) carrying injuries.

Josh McEachran (foot), Andreas Bjelland (knee), Jota (ankle) and Scott Hogan (knee) are long-term absentees, although the latter is back training outside after almost 14 months on the sidelines.

Rotherham begin life under Neil Redfearn following his appointment during the international break.

The former Leeds boss will be without skipper Lee Frecklington, who has a calf injury, while there is a doubt over one other unnamed player.

Midfielder Paul Green is back in the frame after he missed the defeat to Burnley last time out with an Achilles injury.

Whether Redfearn makes other changes remains to be seen as he continues to assess his new side in training this week.
