Agent: Valdes set for January exit

Victor Valdes' agent is convinced the goalkeeper will depart Manchester United during the January transfer window, but doubts he will return to Spain.
The Spain international has been left out in the cold at Old Trafford this season after falling out of favour with United boss Louis van Gaal.
Valdes saw a move to Besiktas fall through during the off-season transfer window, while he rejected the chance to return to his homeland with Valencia.
The 33-year-old has more recently been linked with Newcastle and Sevilla, but his advisor, Gines Carvajal, reckons Spanish football does not appeal to the former Barcelona keeper.
"I am sure about this," Carvajal told Marca. "It is obvious he must leave in January, and we are looking to find a move that he likes.
"My personal opinion is it won't be Spain, unless he says something different. He had the option of coming to Valencia in the summer and did not want to."
