Manchester United Target Everton Starlet Brendan Galloway for January Swoop

Manchester United are ready to act quickly and solve their problem at left-back following Luke Shaw's horrific injury and make a move for Everton youngster Brendan Galloway in January.
According to The Mirror, Louis van Gaal has been impressed with the 19-year-old's impressive run in the Toffees team and could be convinced to make a move for him when the transfer window re-opens in January, with Shaw set to be out for the rest of the season.
Galloway has been a portrait of quality in filling in for Leighton Baines at left-back in Roberto Martinez' side, with his most recent impressive performance coming in the Merseyside Derby against Liverpool.
However, a potential move to Old Trafford may not be as attractive as some would perceive for Galloway, as van Gaal rates Shaw very highly and has the former Southampton man earmarked for a starting berth in the long-term.
Galloway is versatile and can slot in comfortably at centre-half, but even that doesn't guarantee him playing time at United, so it remains to be seen if he will even be interested in a move.
The other potential stumbling block is a fee. Galloway is a young defender with a potentially massive future in the England team so it is likely that Everton would demand a huge fee for his services, especially if they are forced to let him go in the middle of the season.
Van Gaal will have the chance to monitor him closely when United travel to Goodison Park to face Everton next week, as they look to get their campaign back on track after a 3-0 hammering by Arsenal.
