Karim Benzema feels the pain during France's 4-0 victory over Armenia.
Karim Benzema could be out of Real Madrid’s Champions League match away to Paris Saint-Germain after pulling out of the France squad with a hamstring problem.
The striker picked up the injury in the 4-0 friendly victory over Armenia on Thursday and a scan showed he had damaged the muscle in his left leg.
The French federation said he would be unable to participate in Sunday’s friendly against Denmark, having scored twice against Armenia.
It did not say how long the 27-year-old might be sidelined but the Spanish media reported he could be out for three weeks.
That would mean he would miss La Liga games at home to Levante and away to Celta Vigo, as well as the Group A match at PSG on 21 October.
Real and PSG are joint top of Group A on six points, ahead of Malmo and Shakhtar Donetsk.
