Udinese 1 - 1 Genoa : Diego Perotti penalty earns draw for Genoa
Posted Monday, October 05, 2015 by PA
Diego Perotti's 76th-minute equaliser from the penalty spot secured Genoa their first away point of the season at Udinese.
Udinese, 2-1 winners at Bologna in the previous round, went ahead two minutes into the second half when Antonio Di Natale latched onto Felipe's pass and tapped in from four yards for his first goal of the season.
Udinese conceded a penalty when Danilo brought down Serge Gapke in the box and Perotti drove the spot-kick past Udinese keeper Orestis Karnezis.
Udinese were unlucky not to regain the lead seconds from time when substitute Silvan Widmer's six-yard header from Di Natale's cross rattled the crossbar.
