Liverpool are interesting in signing Higuain in January

Liverpool are reportedly lining up the transfer of Napoli’s Gonzalo Higuain in January.

The Argentinian forward was linked with Arsenal for much of the summer but Arsene Wenger ended up only signing Petr Cech from Chelsea.

And now Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is expected to make a move for the £33million-rated Higuain in the new year, according to Fichajes.

Daniel Sturridge’s persistent injuries may mean Rodgers is forced to put in an offer for another striker and Higuain has now emerged as a top target for the Reds.
