Accrington Stanley vs Oxford United - Accrington set to be unchanged for Oxford clash

Posted Friday, October 02, 2015 by PA

Accrington boss John Coleman could choose from an unchanged squad for the home game against Oxford as his side chases a fifth straight win.

Dean Winnard missed the midweek victory against Yeovil due to a back problem and will be assessed, but fellow defender Tom Davies remains sidelined after missing the last two games with a knee injury.

Striker Terry Gornell has been restricted to the bench for the last two games due to a troublesome ankle and could be rested to allow the problem to heal.

Coleman has no new injury problems, while his side climbed up to fourth place in the table in midweek and remain unbeaten at home this season.

Oxford could be unchanged following the 2-1 win at York in midweek.

On-loan Wolves winger Jordan Graham made his debut as a late substitute and may have to settle for a place on the bench again.

Graham's arrival this week saw striker James Roberts loaned out to non-league Chester for a month.

Boss Michael Appleton has no fresh injury concerns as Oxford attempt to stretch their unbeaten run to four matches.
