Wycombe Wanderers vs Northampton Town - Michael Harriman worry for Wycombe's clash with Northampton

Leaders Wycombe will check on the fitness of defender Michael Harriman ahead of the visit of Northampton.

Harriman's goal against Cambridge in midweek fired Wanderers a point clear at the top, but the QPR loanee was forced off with a groin problem towards the end of the 1-0 win.

Sam Wood is close to returning from knee trouble and Paul Hayes could feature following an Achilles problem, but Anthony Stewart remains a long-term absentee due to a knee injury.

Skipper Matt Bloomfield could return to the starting line-up after dropping to the bench in midweek.

Winger Alfie Potter should return to the Northampton squad after missing the 1-1 draw at AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday with a dead leg.

Defender Shaun Brisley is also expected to be fit despite picking up an ankle knock at Kingsmeadow.

Rod McDonald, Ricky Holmes and Paul Corry are still out injured while Jason Taylor completes a four-match ban.

Transfer-listed midfielder John-Joe O'Toole could keep his place after his goalscoring return to the starting line-up in midweek.
