Hartlepool United FC vs Luton Town - Rakish Bingham, Michael Woods and Carl Magnay set for Hartlepool return

Rakish Bingham, Michael Woods and Carl Magnay are all likely to return to Hartlepool's starting line-up against Luton.

Pools were thumped 3-0 at home by Bristol Rovers on Tuesday night, with boss Ronnie Moore describing the performance as "shambolic" and "abysmal".

Moore is now set to make changes, with striker Bingham back in training after a hamstring problem and midfielder Woods available after serving a one-match ban.

Magnay came on as a second-half substitute against the Pirates having completed a three-match suspension and is now expected to start. Right-back Jordan Richards has resumed training after a back injury but is at least a fortnight away.

Luton are reporting no new injury worries ahead of their away trip, with Scott Cuthbert deemed fit following a slight niggle in the midweek win against Morecambe.

Town confirmed Cuthbert was suffering from cramps in that game, and will be available, as they look for a fourth-straight league victory.

Paul Benson is still recovering from the neck injury he picked up in August, but there is positive news looking to the near future over two other players.

Pelly Ruddock and Magnus Okuonghae are expected to be fit in time for Luton's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash against Gillingham on October 6.
