Chelsea and Liverpool target banned from first team training with Manchester United

Victor Valdes has reportedly suffered more humiliation at Manchester United after being told to train on his own by Louis van Gaal.

The Manchester United outcast signed on a free transfer from Barcelona this summer but has only managed two appearances under the Dutchman following their fallout.

The pair came to blows after Van Gaal publicly outed the goalkeeper saying he refused to play for the club's reserve side. Valdes then responded with a Twitter post suggesting he had played for the youth team.

And according to the Daily Mirror, things have gotten a lot worse for the Spaniard in recent weeks after the manager ordered Valdes to train on his own - working solely with the U21, U18 and academy goalkeeping coaches.

Valdes has been told he can only turn up at the Carrington training centre when the first team are not there.

The 33-year-old was close to a move to Beskitas this summer but a move broke down in the final stages. Liverpool have also shown interest in recent weeks over a potential January move as did Chelsea following the injury to Thibaut Courtois.

Since David De Gea signed his new four-year contract earlier this month, Sergio Romero has been dropped to the bench - with the three-time Champions League winner banished to the stands.

The Red Devils host German side Wolfsburg tomorrow night (7.45pm) hoping to get their first win of the Champions League campaign.
