Danny Holmes is an injury concern for Newport ahead of the visit of Crawley.
Holmes had to be substituted just before half-time during the 1-0 win at Carlisle on Saturday - County's first victory of the season.
Tyler Blackwood scored the goal after stepping off the bench and the on-loan QPR striker could be rewarded with his full debut.
Scott Boden, Lenell John-Lewis and Matt Taylor all returned to the squad at the weekend, giving Newport manager Terry Butcher plenty of options.
Under-pressure Crawley manager Mark Yates will make further changes to his team.
Gwion Edwards has returned to fitness and is therefore likely to play, but Jon Ashton has an ankle injury and Luke Rooney is serving a one-match ban.
Joe McNerney, Gavin Tomlin and Lanre Oyebanjo are all also still injured.
Liam Donnelly is expected to start in central defence, with Crawley remaining short of options there.
