Doncaster Rovers vs Swindon preivew - Suspended Gary MacKenzie misses Doncaster's game with Swindon
Posted Tuesday, September 29, 2015 by PA
Doncaster will be without defender Gary MacKenzie for the visit of Swindon.
The central defender saw red in Rovers' 3-1 defeat to South Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United on Saturday and will now serve a three-match ban.
That could mean interim boss Rob Jones picks himself and if he does it will be his first appearance since a neck injury he sustained in August.
Nathan Tyson's hamstring problem is likely to keep him out, but Harry Forrester is pushing for a start.
Swindon could be without three injured players for the trip.
Striker Wes Thomas has pulled his hamstring and is unlikely to feature while midfielder Louis Thompson is hoping to shake off a dead leg.
Captain Nathan Thompson will definitely miss out as he continues his recovery from a groin strain.
Swindon have slipped to 17th in the table after enduring three consecutive league defeats.
