Accrington Stanley vs Yeovil Town preview - Accrington trio doubtful ahead of clash with Yeovil

Accrington could be without defenders Dean Winnard and Tom Davies plus skipper Terry Gornell for the home game against Yeovil.

Centre-half Winnard is struggling with a back-related hamstring problem and was forced out of Saturday's win at Crawley after half an hour.

Davies missed out on Saturday due to a knee injury and striker Gornell, restricted to bench duty at the weekend, has an ankle injury.

"We're preparing as if they aren't going to be fit and if they are then it's a bonus," said boss John Coleman, whose side are chasing a fourth straight league win.

Yeovil striker Shaun Jeffers is expected to return to Paul Sturrock's squad having served a three-game ban and one or two players could return from injury.

Sturrock has had an extensive injury list in recent weeks but defender Ben Tozer (knee), plus midfielders Kevin Dawson (pelvis) and Marc Laird (hamstring) returned to training last week and could feature.

Alex Lacey (groin), Omar Sowunmi (ankle), Ryan Dickson (groin), Jack Compton (calf), Wes Fogden (finger), Simon Gillett (knee) and Jamie Burrows (ankle) all remain sidelined.

The Glovers are chasing back-to-back away wins and only their third success of the season.
