Morecambe vs Luton Town preview - Duo concern Morecambe manager Jim Bentley ahead of Luton fixture

Morecambe boss Jim Bentley is sweating on the fitness of Laurence Wilson and Tom Barkhuizen ahead of Tuesday's League Two home clash with Luton.

Both players limped off in the second half of Saturday's goalless draw at Oxford and the short turnaround gives them little time to prove their fitness.

Shrimps skipper Peter Murphy remains sidelined with a knee injury and is not expected to return until the middle of November.

Bentley could shuffle his pack amid a busy schedule, with Andy Parrish and Paul Mullin among those in contention to start against the Hatters.

Luton could again have Scott Cuthbert and Nathan Doyle available.

Cuthbert returned to training on Monday following an ankle problem that kept him out of the team that beat AFC Wimbledon 2-0 on Saturday.

Doyle has missed the past eight games with a hamstring injury, but played an hour in a development game last week and could tempt manager John Still to pick him.

Still, however, remains without Paul Benson and Pelly Ruddock, who are respectively suffering with neck and back problems.
