West Bromwich(WBA) vs Everton preview - Pulis pleased with outcome of Saido Berahino

Head coach Tony Pulis insists West Brom and Everton have proved teams will not be bullied into selling their top talent.
Pulis reckons their refusal to buckle to bids shows they can resist the spending power of bigger clubs.
Albion rejected four bids from Tottenham for Saido Berahino while Everton turned down Chelsea's offers for defender John Stones.
With the money available to clubs for staying in the Barclays Premier League, Pulis believes clubs are right to dig their heels in until they get an acceptable offer.
"I think the stakes are so high now for every club in terms of keeping Premier League football, that unless it's right it won't happen," he said ahead of his side's Monday night clash with Everton.
"If it's right then everybody has got a value.
"You would have thought that Tottenham would have got Saido at a certain price and you would have thought Chelsea would have got Stones at a certain price so it was nice that it didn't happen, for everybody.
"I just think the value of people and what's going on has changed.
"You can look at Saido but you can look at other deals like (Raheem) Sterling, who was sold. You have to look at what you think each lad is worth and you work from there.
"In my opinion the transfer fees 10 years ago were ridiculous so don't even ask me what I think of them now.
"The top clubs want the best players, they will spend to get the best players and the market value will keep going up because the money is getting bigger and bigger, especially in the Premier League."
West Brom, though, did beat Everton to the signing of Jonny Evans from Manchester United in the summer with the Northern Ireland international helping them to successive clean sheets.
He will return, along with Berahino, Salomon Rondon and Darren Fletcher, after being rested for last week's 3-0 Capital One Cup defeat at Norwich.
"Jonny has played a couple of games for us and he has already shown the qualities that we thought he had," Pulis said.
"He's come from a club with a winning mentality and a club that's run properly.
"There are different standards and different levels and Everton are in that group just below the top so it was lovely to get Jonny."
Everton manager Roberto Martinez wants his side to find some consistency to back up their early-season performances.
Nine points from six matches represents a reasonable return and leaves the club just one win off the top four but they have managed just two victories so far.
Martinez knows they have deserved more than that but has called on the players to prove they can keep on challenging their Champions League-chasing rivals by stringing together a decent set of results.
"The best way to measure the quality of the squad is consistency in performances; Southampton away and Chelsea at home (their two wins to date) has given a reflection of what we can achieve," he said.
"Now it's about continuity and consistency. Our levels of performance have been better than our points return.
"You need to play well in order to get points over the course of the season so at this stage I'd rather have the performances than the points.
"In the last game against Swansea I thought we created enough chances to win and even against Manchester City (Everton's only defeat) I think our performance deserved a lot more than what we got."
The all-round ability of the side has already come to the fore with six different goalscorers and Martinez welcomes the additional contribution from the rest of the side which takes some of the responsibility off record signing Romelu Lukaku.
"When you are a manager of a group of players like we have you get excited about the competition for places and the levels of responsibility we have shown," he added.
"Internally we are getting quite strong in terms of the way we play and the understanding we have of each other.
"One of the biggest things in football is to score goals. It requires talent and organisation as a team.
"To have different goalscorers gives you more of a threat as it harder for the opposition to stop.
"More than anything it has been very satisfying with the balance we have had."
Stones is a doubt after the centre-back sustained a knee injury in the Capital One Cup and will be given as long as possible to see if he is available as will fellow defender Seamus Coleman, who has missed the last two games with a hamstring problem.
Forward Kevin Mirallas serves the second part of a three-match ban.
