Real Madrid want Chelsea's Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard might be under-performing by his own standards so far, also under the bad luck of having his only goal this season taken away from him a few days ago by FA's evil campaign against Chelsea. But even if Hazard is playing badly, this hasn't set off possible suitors in the market -- especially one in Madrid.

According to the Sunday Times, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez is intent on signing the Belgian star.. With Cristiano Ronaldo also having a rocky start, scoring all five of his goals in La Liga so far in just one game, Pérez is keen on adding a chance creator to a team filled with direct goal threats in their attacking band.

The Times also reports that Florentino Pérez is willing to spend heavily on Eden Hazard, going as far as to sell Cristiano Ronaldo to PSG or Gareth Bale to Manchester United to secure funds for such a transfer bid -- although that last part is highly unlikely, as Real Madrid should have the funds to "break the bank" for Eden Hazard without selling one of their superstars.

The question is how big of a bid Real Madrid would need to make for Chelsea to let go of Hazard. Last time we saw something like that, José Mourinho told the press Chelsea would start thinking about selling Eden Hazard for £300 million in a time where FFP rules weren't as lax. Should we ask for more? Should we sell at all? Should I stop laughing now?
