Torino had two players sent off but beat Palermo 2-1 on Sunday to remain perfect at home.

The hosts were fortunate to move in front in the 44th minute when Christian Molinaro's cross towards the area was deflected by defender Giancarlo Gonzalez into his own net.

Toro doubled their lead three minutes after the re-start when Maxi Lopez set up Marco Benassi in the box and his diagonal shot from 10 yards found the net.

The home side had Christian Molinaro sent off for a second yellow card in the 61st minute and Palermo reduced the arrears 10 minutes later when Gonzalez headed home Franco Vazquez's cross.

Toro substitute Joel Obi was shown a red card for a foul on Vazquez seconds from time but the home side held on for all three points.
