Michael Gash scored twice as Barnet made it back-to-back wins with a convincing 3-1 victory over Dagenham.

The striker, who also scored the winner against Stevenage last weekend, side-footed John Akinde's cutback into the bottom-left corner to open the scoring in the opening minute.

Daggers defender Ayo Obileye saw his header from Ashley Hemmings' corner cleared off the line by Barnet left-back Elliott Johnson with half an hour played.

Bees full-back Andy Yiadom doubled the home side's lead four minutes later, playing a one-two with Akinde before curling home left-footed from the edge of the area.

Gash grabbed his second 11 minutes after the break, firing emphatically into the roof of the net from close range after Aaron McLean's 20-yard free-kick deflected through the Dagenham wall.

Akinde went close to extending the lead when his drive from distance cannoned back off the left-hand post before Dagenham substitute Jodi Jones reduced the deficit with a 25-yard free-kick which went in off the right-hand upright in the 66th minute.
