Bordeaux vs Lyonnais preview - Sagnol urges Bordeaux to bounce back from Nice humiliation

Bordeaux coach Willy Sagnol has appealed to his players' "pride and ego" ahead of Saturday's game against Lyon in a bid to bounce back from a heavy midweek defeat to Nice.
Les Girondins fell to a 6-1 defeat on Wednesday and will host Lyon at the Matmut Atlantique stadium.
Not since a 6-3 defeat at Monaco in 1995 had Bordeaux given away six goals in Ligue 1.
"It was a real humiliation which puts our feet back on the ground," Sagnol said on his club's official website. "After that match we had a long chat in the dressing room, although we knew we would not find a solution immediately.
"My players know what I expect of them in the match against Lyon.
"I want to see men on the pitch.
"I appeal to their pride and to their egos.
"We have always been honest about the fact this is a team lacking experience and maturity.
"When the state of mind is not adequate for a top-level match, we struggle.
"If you don't have the right fighting spirit you cannot achieve much."
Bordeaux, who drew 1-1 in Toulouse last weekend, have won just one and lost two of their opening seven games and lie 16th in Ligue 1.
The hosts will be without French striker Enzo Crivelli, who must serve a one-match ban this weekend after being sent off against Nice.
OL head into the contest on the back of a 2-0 victory over SC Bastia on Wednesday - their first home win of the campaign.
Les Gones are fourth in the table, five points adrift of league leaders Paris St Germain, and are unbeaten in their last five games in all competitions.
"This win will give us added confidence," Lyon coach Hubert Fournier said to Ligue1.com. "We need to have more self-belief in our play, in our potential to create danger."
Lyon, who won 5-0 at Bordeaux in December the last time the two sides met, are nowhere near full strength.
The visitors are without Nabil Fekir, Mathieu Valbuena, Clement Grenier, Gueida Fofana, Bakary Kone, Henri Bedimo, Rafael, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa and Rachid Ghezzal, who are all out injured.
Fournier, whose side host Valencia in the Champions League on Tuesday, is expected to field Alexandre Lacazette alongside teenager Aldo Kalulu in attack.
Lyon will fancy their chances as they have won on each of their last three visits to Bordeaux, scoring 11 goals and conceding just one.
