Bolton Wanderers vs Brighton & Hove Albion preview - Wheater and Clayton back in Bolton fold for Brighton clash
Posted Friday, September 25, 2015 by PA
David Wheater and Max Clayton will come into Bolton's squad when they take on Sky Bet Championship leaders Brighton.
Central defender Wheater (Achilles) is yet to feature this season while forward Clayton has been out since December and will bolster an attack that has managed just four goals in eight league games.
Emile Heskey came off against Huddersfield after agitating an old injury and, while the damage is not as serious as first thought, he is unlikely to play this weekend, along with Zach Clough (shoulder), so Gary Madine may have to lead the line once more.
Captain Darren Pratley's knee problem is proving more persistent than first thought, although he is back training, while Dorian Dervite (ligament damage) is still another week or so away and Derik Osede is suspended.
Brighton boss Chris Hughton is set to have a full-strength squad to choose from.
Although striker Tomer Hemed was substituted in last weekend's 0-0 draw at Wolves at half-time, it is expected he will have shaken off his hamstring complaint.
Fellow frontman Sam Baldock (concussion) missed that game but it is anticipated he too will be available.
The same applies to defender Uwe Hunemeier (hip).
