ARSENAL have reportedly been knocked back with their enquiry for Robert Lewandowski.
The Bayern Munich striker stunned the footballing world when he netted five goals in nine minutes as his side thrashed Wolfsburg 5-1 earlier this week.
Lewandowski has found himself linked with a money-spinning move to the Premier League before.
Manchester United previously expressed an interest in the prolific 27-year-old.
But according to the Daily Mail, the Gunners tried to make a cheeky enquiry for Lewandowski.
However, the answer was unequivocal as Bayern said he isn't for sale.

Arsene Wenger was heavily criticised by the fans for not signing a top-class striker despite being heavily linked to Karim Benzema over the summer.
