Nice 6 - 1 Bordeaux : Hatem Ben Arfa bags a brace as Nice crush Bordeaux

Hatem Ben Arfa scored twice as Nice emphatically made it back-to-back Ligue 1 wins with a 6-1 hammering of 10-man Bordeaux at the Allianz Riviera.

The hosts had to come from behind, though, when Jaroslav Plasil gave Les Girondins an early lead on his return from a four-month injury lay-off, but Nice responded and Valerie Germain headed them level after 33 minutes before Mickael Le Bihan gave Claude Puel's side a half-time lead.

The visitors' evening went from bad to worse just after the restart when Enzo Crivelli was given his marching orders for a two-footed lunge before Nicolas Pallois poked Cedric Carrasso's save into his own net to make it 3-1.

Ben Arfa scored his third and fourth goals of the season in a six-minute spell half way through the second half before Alexandre Mendy compounded a miserable evening for Willy Sagnol's side, confidently finishing to grab his first ever goal in Ligue 1.
